Description:
Abrasive fleece is produced in a continuous processing process in which the base fibers are carded, layered and needled to form a fleece. In a second work step, a mixture of synthetic resin and abrasive grain is sprayed onto this three-dimensional carrier, which penetrates into the fleece and sticks. The abrasive grain is thus distributed throughout the material, so that new abrasive grain is exposed again and again with normal wear. This leads to a constant performance over the entire service life. The open structure reduces clogging. Abrasive fleece is also very adaptable and can also be used for dry and wet sanding (water, oil, grease).
